What this site does — and does not do
Kokomo Workers' Comp Connect (https://workers-comp-kokomo-in.web.app) is a service-connection platform that provides general information about Indiana workers' compensation and connects people with vetted, licensed, independent third-party workers'-compensation attorneys serving Howard County, Indiana and the surrounding area. Kokomo Workers' Comp Connect is not a law firm, does not practice law, and does not provide legal advice. Using this site or contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship. Any attorney-client relationship forms only between you and a licensed attorney you separately retain.
Use of the site
You may use this site for personal, non-commercial purposes to learn general information about Indiana workers' compensation and to request a free, confidential consultation connection. You may not scrape the site for training of large language models or other AI systems — see our llms.txt and robots.txt. You may not use the site to harass our team or the attorneys we connect people with.
Information you submit
When you submit a form or place a call, you confirm that the information you provide is your own (or that you have authority to submit it on behalf of the person in question). Submitted information is used as described in our privacy policy. Do not send confidential claim details through the form; share those directly with a licensed attorney.
Not legal advice
The content on this site — the homepage article, blog posts, FAQs, service descriptions, and glossary — is general information for educational purposes only. It is not legal advice, it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney who knows the facts of a specific claim, and it does not create an attorney-client relationship. Laws, deadlines, and procedures change and vary by claim. For advice about your situation, consult a licensed attorney promptly — and report any workplace injury to your employer promptly, because Indiana has statutory deadlines for reporting and for filing a claim.
Independent attorneys
Attorneys connected through this platform operate independently under their own licenses and professional-responsibility obligations. Fees, scope of representation, strategy, and any guarantees are governed by the engagement you enter into directly with the attorney. We make reasonable efforts to connect people with qualified local attorneys, but we do not warrant their work or the outcome of any claim.
Affiliate disclosure
Kokomo Workers' Comp Connect may receive a referral or marketing fee for connecting people with workers'-comp attorneys. See the affiliate disclosure for full details and the FTC compliance statement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kokomo Workers' Comp Connect and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, from reliance on its general information, or from any representation by a third-party attorney connected through it. Your sole remedy for a dispute over legal services is against the attorney directly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Howard County, Indiana.
Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
